Aaron is a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Sleep Specialist with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Aaron spent two years in the Graduate Program in Experimental Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he specialized in the relationship of Sleep to Learning and Memory. He developed the Evolution Sleep insomnia program in 2013 and specializes in helping people who suffer from behavioural sleep issues. His approach to insomnia utilizes techniques found in cognitive-behavioural therapy for insomnia (cbt-i). Aaron also has experience with the wide range of sleep disorders and is often asked to speak at public events offering his insight into the world of sleep. Dr. Boekamp obtained her Masters in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota in 2008 and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2015. She also completed a Master’s in Business Administration at the Schulich School of Business. She has over 14 years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, college counseling centers, substance abuse centers and private practice settings. Dr. Boekamp is licensed to provide psychological services both in Ontario and the State of Florida.

Dr. Boekamp provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults. In therapy, her number one goal is to create a space built on warmth, positivity and authenticity, so that you can achieve your goals. The therapeutic relationship is key in developing the kind of space where each client can explore issues, concerns and goals, so she pays careful attention to this relationship on an ongoing basis. She conducts diagnostic assessments for a variety of psychological issues including depression, anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, substance use, work-related disability, chronic pain, and cognitive difficulties such as problems with attention and memory.
